Ferrovadium Furnace Equipment Introduction

Ferrovadium furnace is a special core industrial furnace dedicated to the smelting of ferrovadium alloys. It adapts to electro-silicon thermal process and electro-aluminum thermal process, uses electric arc as heat source to efficiently reduce raw materials such as vanadium pentoxide and vanadium trioxide. Featuring high smelting efficiency, high vanadium recovery rate, low energy consumption and high automation, it is widely applied in metallurgy, special steel, aerospace and other industries.

  1. Professional smelting design

    Optimized for high temperature (1600-1800℃) and strong corrosion during ferrovadium smelting. The furnace lining adopts composite structure of magnesia brick, chrome-magnesia brick and corundum slag ramming, featuring high temperature resistance, erosion resistance and long service life.
  2. High efficiency & energy saving

    Available in standard capacity from 1.5t to 5t, matched with 1800kVA transformer. Equipped with conductive cross arm and precise electrode lifting control system, it achieves high thermal efficiency and low power consumption, with vanadium recovery rate over 95%.

    Adopts full water-cooled furnace cover and sealed furnace body design, equipped with furnace tilting, furnace cover lifting & rotating and explosion-proof smoke exhaust system, ensuring safe operation and convenient maintenance.
  4. Intelligent control

    Adopts PLC automatic control system to realize full-process automatic operation of batching, heating, smelting, slag tapping and iron tapping. Real-time monitoring of temperature, current and voltage ensures stable smelting quality.
  5. Strong flexibility

    Customizable capacity from 1.5t to 10t, compatible with various raw materials including vanadium slag, V₂O₅ and V₂O₃, meeting diverse production capacity demands.

Structural Composition

  1. Furnace Body

    High-strength steel plate welded shell with reinforced steel rings. Composite furnace lining structure effectively prevents furnace leakage and thermal shock damage.
  2. Furnace Cover System

    Water-cooled sealed furnace cover with lifting and rotating mechanism, reducing heat loss and flue gas emission.
  3. Electrode System

    High-purity graphite electrodes matched with servo lifting device, which can automatically adjust electrode height and current to stabilize electric arc and control temperature accurately.
  4. Tilting Mechanism

    Electric/hydraulic tilting drive structure, realizing thorough separation of slag and molten iron with smooth discharging.
  5. Electric Control System

    Professional metallurgical transformer and PLC intelligent control cabinet, integrated with data acquisition, power regulation, safety interlock and fault alarm functions.
  6. Auxiliary Systems

    Complete supporting systems including material conveying, dust removal, cooling water circulation and slag treatment to form a one-stop production solution.
