1.Project Overview: Annual Production of 30000 Tons (Metal Quantity) of High Purity Ternary Power Battery Grade Nickel Sulfate Project - Pre treatment Sub item 3000KVA Depleted Electric Furnace Equipment.


2. Process flow: This equipment is used to receive hot melt waste residue from the vulcanization furnace and dilute the waste residue.


3,Working principle
The 3000KVA depleted electric furnace equipment operates based on the dual principle of resistance heat and arc heat. When current is introduced into the furnace through the electrodes of the electric furnace, a high-temperature arc is formed between the electrodes and the furnace material. The arc area can instantly generate high temperatures of up to thousands of degrees Celsius, and the resistance of the furnace material itself also generates a large amount of heat. In this high-temperature environment, a series of complex physical and chemical reactions occur in the nickel containing raw materials and related auxiliary materials entering the furnace. The moisture in the raw materials evaporates rapidly, organic matter is decomposed, and metal oxides undergo reduction reactions under the action of reducing agents, separating valuable metals such as nickel from the compounds, forming liquid alloy phases and slag phases, achieving preliminary metal enrichment and impurity separation, laying the foundation for subsequent refining and purification processes.


4.Technical parameters
Rated capacity: 3000KVA, capable of providing stable and sufficient electrical energy to meet the heating needs of the depleted electric furnace at different production stages, ensuring that the materials inside the furnace can quickly heat up and reach the ideal melting temperature. ​
Working voltage: According to the process requirements, the working voltage can be adjusted within a certain range, usually ranging from tens of volts to hundreds of volts, to adapt to different furnace resistance and melting conditions, ensuring stable combustion of the arc and effective heat transfer. ​
Electrode diameter: Suitable diameter graphite electrodes are used, usually 300-500mm. The size design of the electrode fully considers the power and current density of the electric furnace, which can ensure good conductivity and reduce electrode consumption. ​
Melting temperature: The maximum melting temperature can reach over 1600 ℃, which can meet the melting and reaction needs of various components in nickel containing raw materials, achieving efficient metal enrichment and impurity separation. ​
Production capacity: Based on the properties and process conditions of the raw materials, the daily processing capacity of this depleted electric furnace equipment can reach 30-50 tons, which can meet the needs of large-scale industrial production and provide stable pretreatment raw materials for high-purity ternary power battery grade nickel sulfate projects.
