The production of mineral wool from hot slag is a new type of mineral wool production process in China, which has the characteristics of low energy consumption, low investment, non pollution, and high economic benefits.
The electric furnace equipment for producing mineral wool from hot slag is used to melt industrial hot slag, control the temperature and amount of slag transported to the centrifuge, and meet the requirements for producing mineral wool boards and loose cotton.
The ultimate goal is to achieve energy conservation, emission reduction, and reuse of solid waste.
1. Equipment usage:
This equipment is mainly used to receive slag from electric furnaces for heating and insulation, and transport it to centrifuges for cotton production. The furnace has a slag outlet for use by mineral cotton machines, with a slag outlet capacity of about 4 tons/hour and a yield rate of over 80%. It can produce 25000 to 30000 tons annually.
The furnace is equipped with an iron outlet for discharging excess iron.
The furnace cover is equipped with temperature measurement holes and feeding holes.
