This equipment is used to receive hot slag from a silicon manganese ore furnace. The original slag temperature is around 1200-1300 ℃. After heating, tempering, and insulation, the temperature reaches 1400-1500 ℃ and is continuously transported to a centrifuge for producing mineral wool.
This equipment is suitable for use in a production line with an annual output of 30000 tons of slag cotton.
Purpose
The slag cotton insulation furnace is mainly used for insulation of hot slag during the production process of slag cotton. Ensure that the hot slag is maintained within an appropriate temperature range for subsequent processing into slag wool, ensuring the continuity of production and the stability of product quality.
Structure Design
Lining: It is a key part of the insulation furnace and usually adopts a multi-layer structure. The insulation furnace in a certain utility model patent has a side lining consisting of asbestos board layer, ramming material layer, and carbon brick layer from outside to inside, and a bottom structure consisting of high alumina brick layer, refractory aggregate layer, and carbon brick layer from bottom to top. The thermal conductivity of asbestos board layer is low, which can effectively reduce heat loss; The pounding material layer can enhance the structural strength of the furnace lining; The carbon brick layer has good thermal stability, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and can be used as a high temperature resistant layer to improve the service life of the furnace lining.
Furnace shell: Generally made of steel plate, it plays a role in supporting and protecting the furnace lining, while preventing heat radiation and loss, ensuring heat concentration inside the furnace, and maintaining a high temperature environment.
Performance characteristics
Excellent insulation performance: Through the design of multi-layer furnace lining structure and the use of low thermal conductivity insulation materials such as asbestos board, refractory materials, etc., the heat transfer rate is effectively reduced, heat loss is minimized, and the hot slag in the furnace can be maintained at a high temperature level, meeting the process requirements of slag cotton production.
Strong structural stability: The ramming material layer and carbon brick layer of the furnace lining have high strength and wear resistance, and can withstand the erosion and erosion of hot slag, as well as the thermal stress generated by frequent temperature changes. They are not easy to crack or fall off, ensuring the structural integrity and service life of the insulation furnace.
Good thermal shock resistance: Materials such as carbon bricks have a low coefficient of thermal expansion and can adapt well to thermal shock under frequent temperature changes, reducing damage to the furnace lining caused by thermal expansion and contraction, improving the reliability and stability of the insulation furnace, and reducing maintenance costs and production interruption risks.
