  Steel smelting is an indispensable and important link in the steel industry, which is directly related to the quality and performance of steel products.


  Iron and steel smelting is a process in which impurities and other elements in pig iron are removed by high temperature heating to produce high-purity iron and steel products.

  Its technical principle mainly includes: melting reduction, carburizing and desulfurization and other key steps.

  Molten reduction refers to the reaction of pig iron with reducing agents such as limestone at high temperatures to reduce iron to metal.               Carburizing refers to the addition of appropriate carbon sources, so that the carbon content in metal iron reaches a certain level,

  • Electric Arc Furnace (EAF)
    • Working Principle: Electric arc furnaces use electric arcs generated between electrodes and the charge to produce heat. The heat melts the scrap steel and other raw materials, and chemical reactions occur to adjust the composition of the molten steel.
