1, Overview of the Industrial Silicon Submerged Arc Furnace
Industrial Silicon Submerged Arc Furnace is mainly used to proceed the submerged arc smelting by mixing up qualified silica,carbonaceous reducing agent and other material with specific proportion, filling into the industrial Silicon Submerged Arc Furnace, inputting high voltage through transformer,high current supply system and electrode holder and submerging the electrode into material. After a period of smelting, tapping the molten iron into the ladle, moulding by casting, smashing, finishing, and then, quantitative packaging into storage.
Technology Feature: applying self-baking electrode,carbonaceous brick and high alumina refractory brick as furnace lining,continuous charging,intermittent tapping,continuous processing.
2.Composition of the Industrial Silicon Submerged Arc Furnace
The mechanical part of the Industrial Silicon Submerged Arc Furnace mainly consists of furnace shell(stationary and rotating type), semi-sealed low hood, electrode holder(combined holder or pressure ring holder), high current supply system, smoke extraction system, charging system, feed system, hydraulic systems.
