Corundum Electric Furnace for Solid Hazardous Waste Vitrification
The CD-CF-5T Corundum Electric Furnace is engineered for continuous high-temperature melting and vitrification of solid hazardous waste, industrial slag and smelting residues. The corundum-lined melting chamber withstands thermal loads up to 2000 C, enabling stable, low-emission waste processing and inert slag output.

- Corundum-Mullite Lining: High-purity corundum castable lining resists slag erosion and thermal shock, extending campaign life beyond three years.
- DC Arc Heating: Concentrated DC arc heat reaches high melting point materials quickly, with power factor above 0.9 and no reactive compensation required.
- Continuous Operation: Automatic feeding, tapping and slag discharge support 5 tonnes per hour with a closed furnace hood for dust control.
- Smart Control: PLC plus frequency conversion electrode lifting gives double closed-loop control of current and voltage.
- Energy Saving: Electrode consumption is only 30-50 percent of a comparable AC furnace, with low flicker and noise.
