Ternary catalytic resource treatment background introduction:
Ternary catalysis is a kind of catalyst composed of platinum, palladium and rhodium, which has been widely used in automobile exhaust treatment. However, the recycling rate of these precious metals is not high, resulting in resource waste and environmental pollution problems.   

 

Three-way catalytic recovery scheme:
1. Catalyst separation The waste ternary catalyst is separated and the part containing precious metals is recovered. This step requires separation using chemical methods. 2. Extraction of precious metals
The separated parts containing precious metals are extracted. Platinum, palladium and rhodium can be extracted by electrolysis, reduction and other methods. 3. Secondary use
The extracted precious metals are re-added to the newly produced three-way catalyst. This can reduce production costs and reduce the consumption of natural resources.
